By Public Transit

The Museum is conveniently located two blocks West of the Portland Mall, accessible by MAX Light Rail and many bus lines, and four blocks East of the NW Couch and NW Everett stops of the Portland Streetcar. Visit TriMet’s website for routes and schedules.

By Bike

The Museum is accessible by bike from the East via the Broadway, Steel (lower deck) and Burnside Bridges, and from the West via NW Flanders Street and NW Couch Street. NW 3rd and NW 4th Avenues parallel from North to South. For more information on preferred bike routes, please visit the City of Portland Office of Transportation web page. Several sidewalk bike racks are available outside the Museum building.

From PNCA Main Campus Building

The Museum is located 12 blocks Southeast of the PNCA Main Campus Building, a 10–15 minute walk or two stops South on the Portland Streetcar. By car, drive East on NW Johnson Street toward NW 11th Avenue. Turn right onto NW 11th Avenue. Turn left on NW Davis.

By Car

From I-5 Northbound
Merge onto I-405 N via Exit 299B (center lane) toward US-26W/Beaverton/City Center. Take Exit 2B toward Everett Street. This puts you on NW 14th Avenue. At the first intersection, turn right onto NW Everett Street. Turn right onto NW 8th Ave. Turn left onto NW Davis Street.

From I-5 Southbound
Take Exit 302A toward City Center. This puts you on N Broadway. N Broadway becomes Broadway Bridge. Broadway Bridge becomes NW Broadway. Turn right onto NW Davis Street.

From downtown Portland (Westbound on W Burnside Street)
Drive West on W Burnside Street toward SW Broadway. Turn right onto NW Broadway. Turn left onto NW Davis Street.

From downtown Portland (Eastbound on W Burnside Street)
Drive East on W Burnside Street toward NW 10th Avenue. Just after crossing 11th Avenue, veer right onto SW Oak Street. Turn left onto 10th Avenue. Turn right onto NW Davis Street.

Parking

Metered street parking ($1.60 per hour) surrounds the Museum, and several private parking lots in the radius of the Museum offer hourly rates.
